Hey, it's me, Kat! Welcome to my weird little world, where I'll be sharing something that made me laugh, and first looks at pieces I'm working on, anything from humor articles, short stories and even poems, oh my!
Like this beautiful poem that I wrote just for you from the bottom of my little Grinch heart, for example. (Wow! You’re already getting a poem from me, lucky you!!)
Ahhhhhhh
The sun at my back
The wind in my hair
The air in my face
Ahhhhhhhhh
Help, I’m falling out of an airplane!
You’re welcome.
If you couldn’t tell, I get anxious on airplanes, and this is my greatest fear. But we all need to face our fears at some point, and writing this poem was my Everest. (another fear of mine is falling off the top of Mt Everest).
SOMETHING THAT MADE ME LAUGH THIS WEEK
Forget that new Ryan Reynolds Will Ferrell Scrooge movie, ‘tis the season to watch & re-watch the greatest Dickens movie ever made, “The Muppets Christmas Carol”. Every song is a bop. Every joke is perfection. But there’s one line that makes me laugh every. Single. Time. It is poetry, and perhaps one of the greatest lines ever written in the history of mankind:
You’re welcome, again.
Okay that is all for now! I hope something in here made you smile or maybe even exhale through your nose. And if it didn’t, just know that I’m laughing, and that’s all that matters :)
Ta ta! <3
Kat
This made me exhale through my nose!
